Integration Guide
Connect Scrub to Scale to Jobber
When someone completes your pricing form, the lead is automatically matched (or created) as a Jobber client, a request is opened, and the full quote is attached as a note. Completely hands-free, powered by Zapier.
New Lead Submitted → Find Client → Create Request → Add Note to Request
You will need a Scrub to Scale account (owner or admin), a Zapier account, and a Jobber account. It takes about 15 minutes and you only set it up once.
The setup, step by step
-
Part 1. Get your Scrub to Scale API key
In the Scrub to Scale app, go to Dashboard, then Integrations. Under API Key, click Generate API Key and copy it now. It starts with sts_ and is shown only once. Keep it private. If it ever leaks, regenerate a new one from the same page and the old key stops working immediately.
-
Part 2. Open Scrub to Scale in Zapier
Scrub to Scale is a private Zapier app, so you must use the invite link the first time. Searching for it in Zapier will not find it. On the Integrations page, find the Jobber card and click Open Scrub to Scale in Zapier, then accept the invite to add the app to your Zapier account.
-
Step 1. Trigger, New Lead Submitted
In Zapier, click Create, then Zap. For the trigger app, choose Scrub to Scale (it lives under the Private tab, which is normal for a private app). Set the Trigger event to New Lead Submitted. Under Account, connect Scrub to Scale by pasting your API key when prompted (you only do this once). Click Continue, then Test trigger to pull in a sample lead. This trigger checks for new leads about every 2 minutes, so leads land in Jobber within a few minutes, not instantly.
-
Step 2. Jobber, Find Client
Add an action, choose Jobber, then Find Client, and connect your Jobber account. For the search term, map the Scrub to Scale Email field, since email is the most reliable match. Then turn ON "Create Jobber Client if it does not exist yet". This is the key setting: without it, brand-new leads get skipped. Map the create fields (see the table below) so new clients come through complete.
-
Step 3. Jobber, Create Request
Add an action, choose Jobber, then Create Request. For Client, select the client returned by Step 2 (it shows as an ID, which is correct). For Title, map the Scrub to Scale Service Label field so the request is clearly named in Jobber, for example "Deep Cleaning". Title is the only field worth filling here, because the full quote goes into the note in Step 4.
-
Step 4. Jobber, Add Note to Request
Add an action, choose Jobber, then Add Note to Request. For Request ID, select the request from Step 3. Then build the Message: this is one free-text box where you type a label and insert a Scrub to Scale field right after it, line by line. Every field you insert comes from Step 1, the trigger, which is where the lead information lives. Use the message map below.
-
Finish. Test it, then turn it on
Submit a test lead through your live pricing form. In Zap History, confirm all four steps ran green. In Jobber, confirm the client, request, and note all appeared. Then turn the Zap ON. From now on, every completed pricing form flows straight into Jobber as a ready-to-quote request, with no manual entry.
Step 2 field mapping (Find Client)
Map these Scrub to Scale fields to the matching Jobber fields so new clients come through complete. Leave Company Name, Street 2, and Country blank unless your leads provide them.
| Scrub to Scale field | Jobber field |
|---|---|
| Client Search Term / Email Address | |
| First Name | First Name |
| Last Name | Last Name |
| Phone | Phone Number |
| Address | Street 1 |
| City | City |
| State | State / Province |
| Zip Code | Zip / Postal Code |
Step 4 message map (Add Note)
Unlike Step 2, there are no Jobber fields to pick here. The note is text you write, with lead details inserted into it. Type the label, then insert the Scrub to Scale field right after it. For example, type "Service:" then insert Service Label, and the finished note reads "Service: Deep Cleaning".
| Type this label | Then insert this field (from Step 1) |
|---|---|
| Service: | Service Label |
| Frequency: | Frequency Label |
| Bedrooms: | Beds |
| Full Bathrooms: | Full Baths |
| Half Bathrooms: | Half Baths |
| Square Footage: | Sqft |
| Add-ons: | Addons Name |
| Estimate Range: | Estimate Low to Estimate High |
| Estimate (exact): | Estimate Exact |
| Offer Claimed: | Claimed Offer Description |
| Their answers: | Questions Summary |
Troubleshooting
| If this happens | Do this |
|---|---|
| Cannot find Scrub to Scale in Zapier | Open it via the link in the Integrations, Jobber card first. It is a private app and will not show up in Zapier search. |
| New leads are being skipped at Step 2 | Turn on "Create Jobber Client if it does not exist yet" on the Find Client step. |
| "Invalid API key" error | Regenerate the key in Integrations and reconnect. Keys show once, and revoked keys stop working. |
| Nothing is coming through | Make sure the Zap is turned ON. The trigger checks for new leads about every 2 minutes. |

Common questions
How do I connect Scrub to Scale to Jobber?
Through Zapier. Generate an API key in the Scrub to Scale app under Dashboard, Integrations, open the private Scrub to Scale app via the invite link on the Jobber card, then build a 4-step Zap: New Lead Submitted, Find Client, Create Request, and Add Note to Request. The whole setup takes about 15 minutes and you only do it once.
Why can I not find Scrub to Scale in Zapier search?
Scrub to Scale is a private Zapier app, so it does not appear in search. You must open it the first time using the invite link in the app, under Dashboard, Integrations, on the Jobber card.
How fast do leads reach Jobber?
The trigger checks for new leads about every 2 minutes, so a completed pricing form lands in Jobber within a few minutes, not instantly. That is normal for this kind of automation.
What gets created in Jobber for each lead?
The lead is matched to an existing Jobber client or created as a new one, a request is opened and tied to that client, and the full quote (service, frequency, home details, estimate, and the customer answers) is attached to the request as a note.
Do I need a Jobber and a Zapier account?
Yes. You need a Scrub to Scale account with owner or admin access, a Zapier account, and a Jobber account. The integration runs through Zapier to move leads from your Scrub to Scale pricing form into Jobber.
Capture every lead
Turn your pricing form into booked work.
The Lead & Pricing System puts an estimator on your site, captures every lead, and (with this integration) drops it straight into Jobber, ready to quote.
