This is for you if
- You are about to make your first hire and have no idea what to ask
- Someone has already quit on you, no-showed, or called off at 6am
- Your paperwork lives in a text thread and a glovebox
- You want the documents done this week, in your branding, without a lawyer's invoice
This is not for you if
- You want legal advice for your state. This is what I use; a professional should check it for you.
- You need payroll, scheduling, or HR software. These are documents and calculators, not a payroll system.
- You hire office staff or commercial crews. This is written for residential cleaning.
Six documents, three tools, and the editor that makes them yours.
| Part | What it does for you |
|---|---|
| Job post generator | Company name, city, pay range, schedule, and perks in once. A ready-to-post listing for Facebook and Indeed out, written the way the good candidates actually read. |
| Interview questionnaire | Phased questions, logistics and fit first, then the ones that show attitude and reliability, with a Strong, Okay, or Concern rating on every answer so each candidate is judged the same way. |
| Employee handbook | Welcome and mission, conduct and equal opportunity, employment policies, pay and benefits, and the at-will disclaimer, written so a new cleaner reads it and understands it. |
| Call-off policy | Arrival window, notice required, the rolling window, the doctor's note rule, and how to call off, all set from your numbers. Signed before the first shift. |
| 1099 contractor agreement | For the subs you use: scope of work, payment, quality control, insurance minimum, non-solicit, and referral terms, with your state filled in. |
| Onboarding forms | The onboarding checklist for the first week and the emergency contact form, the day-one paperwork every new hire completes and signs, so nothing is chased later. |
| Labor calculator | Your revenue per job, hours, travel, and pay structure in. Labor cost as a percent of revenue, profit per job, and a what-if scenario side by side, so you see what a hire does to your margin before you make it. |
| Operations setup guide | The two systems a cleaning business needs before it grows, Jobber for scheduling and invoicing and QuickBooks for the books, with why they matter and the setup checklist. |
| The editor | Upload your logo, pick your brand color, and fill in your details once. Click any line to change it, remove the sections you do not need, then print or save as PDF. |

Why I built it
Twenty-seven call-offs in one month.
That was the month I wrote the call-off policy. Then a candidate showed up twenty minutes late to her own interview, and I already knew. What you let slide in the interview you tolerate forever. Everything in this bundle exists because something went wrong first, and I wrote it down so it would not happen again.

Frequently asked.
Anything else, email us. A real person answers.
Is this legal advice?
No. These are the documents I use in my own company, written in plain words. Have an employment professional look them over for your state before you rely on them. Rules vary.
How does the branding work?
Upload your logo, pick your brand color, and fill in your company details in the sidebar. Every page updates as you type. Click any line to change the wording, remove a section you do not need, then print or save it as a PDF. Come back and edit any time.
Which parts are documents and which are tools?
The employee handbook, the call-off policy, and the contractor agreement open in the branding editor and save as PDF. The interview questionnaire, the onboarding checklist, and the emergency contact form are Word documents you edit and print. The job post generator, the labor calculator, and the operations setup guide are web tools you open in your browser.
W-2 employees or 1099 contractors?
Both. The handbook, call-off policy, and onboarding forms are for employees. The independent contractor agreement is for subs. The labor calculator shows the cost of each. Use the one that matches how you hire, and have a professional check your state rules on classification.
I have never hired anyone. Is this too much?
It is built for the first hire. Run the labor calculator, post the ad, use the questions, have your hire sign the policy on day one. The bundle is the order of operations, not a pile of paperwork.
Does it work outside the United States?
The interview questions, the handbook, the call-off policy, the job post generator, and the labor calculator work anywhere. The onboarding forms and the contractor agreement are written for US employers.
How do I get it?
It arrives by email the moment you pay. Open it on your phone, tablet, or laptop.
Is this a subscription?
No. It's a one-time purchase. Pay once and it's yours.
One bad hire costs more than this bundle.
$47, once. In your inbox the moment you pay.
